Hello Forum and all riders; Has anybody used aftermarket oil filters for LS650? The reason I ask is my local dealer isn't interested in stocking filters for this bike and I am now waiting 7 days for one on order. Surely there must be a filter somewhere that is the same thing. I found a Savage filter in J.C.Whitney for $1.99, but you have to pay $6.85 for shipping bringing total to $8.84. However you can order 12 of them and still pay only $6.85 shipping, bringing the price to $30.73 or $2.56 per filter which is about half dealer price. The question is, are they good filters, does anybody know about Whitney oil filters for LS650?
